Anyfish Anywhere Champion of Wales 2012

The date for this prestigious event has been set for Saturday 15th September 2012 at Borth.

This year the event will be fully sonsored which will mean FREE entry for all who qualify.

Also at Borth on Sunday 16th September fishing 11am until 3pm it is hoped the WFSA will grant permission to run the WFSA Flounder Championships.

This will truly make it an truly outstanding weekend for the anglers of Wales.

 

Peter Hammond is now remembered in the hall of fame Peter represented the South West region and will certainly be looking forward to next year’s event to recapture his crown.
The event this year takes is being held on the 15th of September on Borth beach over high water making the event more interesting.
Current Qualifiers for the event are now been registered, may I ask all WFSA clubs to respect this date and ensure no events are staged on this date allowing your anglers the opportunity to compete in this prestigious event, we have been supported by Julian Shambrook from the Anyfish Anywhere and this has been a welcomed opportunity for us as a federation.
This is the fifth year that the event has been staged, we will look to run a raffle this year in the event with the proceeds being split between the International teams boat/shore equally so any donations will be gratefully received for the prize table
Just to remind all on how you qualify for the event each club has three anglers nominated to represent the clubs
The International Qualifiers the top 6 from boat, shore each discipline will be allowed
Open winners from events staged in Wales providing the events carry the nomination on the posters will be allowed
Regional events the top six from nominated events
Personal members the top 6 from every Regional Section
