New selection process for 2012
A Team Selection Weekend will be held to select the Team to represent Wales at the World Championships in 2013, which will be held in Spain.
Date:-
Arrive Friday 7th September 2012 and stay for 2 or 3 nights, depending on your work or personal commitments.
Venue:-
Hafan Y Mor Holiday Park, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, LL53 6HX
Cost:-
£120, this includes a double or twin room in a shared self-catering caravan and bait for fishing sessions over the weekend. Husbands or partners can accompany you at no extra cost. Duvets and pillows are provided but you will need to bring your own bed linen and towels.
Payment:-
A non-refundable deposit of £30 is required by the 1st April 2012 with the remaining payment of £90 to be paid in full by 1st June 2012.
Brief overview of the weekend:-
There will be two or three fishing sessions over the weekend, competitors will be expected to use light line tactics to target specific species such as garfish & bream. We may also hold some skill testing sessions (eg. Casting, discuss various topics related to the World Championships and if required we will hold coaching/skills sessions for new competitors.
